How it works

From the download to your first shared record.

  1. Step 1: Download the app

    It's free on iPhone and Android, starting in the United States.

  2. Step 2: Sign in with Apple or Google

    In the app, with the account you already have. There's no password to create, and no web sign-in.

  3. Step 3: Add the people you look after

    You come first. Add up to five more, and each person gets their own lockers.

  4. Step 4: Records arrive, and you share them when you choose

    From your clinic, your camera and your appointments. Share any of them with a QR code or a link that ends when you say.

For clinicians

If your practice uses Mohair Notes, you can send signed reports, lab results, and ultrasound images and clips straight to a patient's biolockr.

Records are matched to the email address your patient uses in biolockr, so check you have the right one.

Is biolockr free?

Yes. biolockr is free to download and use.

Who can see my records?

You can. To show a record to a doctor or anyone else, you share it with a link or QR code. It stops working when the time you set runs out, or sooner if you revoke it.

The privacy policy explains who else handles your information, such as the companies that store it for us.

How does my clinic send records to biolockr?

Clinics that use Mohair Notes can send signed reports, lab results, and ultrasound images and clips straight to biolockr. Give your clinic the email address you use in biolockr, and records sent to it arrive in your biolockr.

If your clinic doesn't use Mohair Notes, ask for a copy and add it yourself as a photo or PDF.

Can I record my appointment? What about consent?

Yes, with everyone's agreement. Ask your clinician before you start, and don't record if anyone says no. Some states require everyone in a conversation to agree to a recording.

The summary is made only from what was said. It may contain mistakes, so check anything important with your clinician.

Can I use biolockr on the web?

You sign in to biolockr in the app, with Apple or Google. There is no web sign-in.

A doctor you share with opens the records you chose in a browser, with no app or account to set up.

Where is my data stored?

In the United States, on Amazon Web Services (AWS). It's encrypted in transit and at rest.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account. Deleting removes everyone you keep records for and every record, and it can't be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.
