Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Arcadia Perinatal ("we", "us") about your use of biolockr. By using biolockr, you agree to them.

What biolockr is

biolockr is an app for keeping health records for you and the people you look after. It isn't a medical service. It doesn't give medical advice, diagnose conditions or replace your clinician.

Summaries

biolockr writes plain-language summaries of documents you add and visits you record. Summaries are made by software and may contain mistakes. Check anything important with your clinician, and don't make decisions about care from a summary alone.

Your account

• You sign in with Apple or Google. Keep that account secure: anyone who can sign in to it can open your biolockr.
• You must be an adult to create an account.
• You can keep records for up to five other people, such as your children or a parent you care for. Only add someone whose health information you have the right to manage.

Recording visits

Only record a conversation when everyone in it has agreed. Some states require everyone's consent before a conversation is recorded, and you're responsible for getting that agreement.

Records from your clinicians

Clinics that use Mohair Notes can send records to the email address you use in biolockr. Make sure your clinic has the right address. If a record reaches you by mistake, delete it and tell the clinic that sent it.

Sharing

When you share records with a link or QR code, anyone who has it can see what you shared until the link ends or you revoke it. Only share with people you trust.

Your content

Your records are yours. You give us permission to store, process and show them only so we can run biolockr for you.

Using biolockr fairly

Don't use biolockr to break the law, to store records you have no right to hold, or to interfere with the service or anyone else's use of it.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time. See Delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Availability

We work to keep biolockr available and your records safe, but we can't promise the service will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copy of anything you can't do without.

Changes to these terms

If we make important changes, we'll tell you before they take effect.
